Ulva sp.
Ulva (Sea Lettuce)
Sea Lettuce (Ulva sp.) is a bright green, leafy macroalgae that’s as versatile as it is hardy. Its thin, sheet-like fronds make it an excellent nutrient exporter and a natural grazer food for tangs, angelfish, and other herbivores. Easy to grow and fast to establish, it’s a staple macroalgae for both refugiums and display tanks. Ulva can also be harvested and used as a fresh or dried supplemental food for fish and invertebrates.
