Gracilaria corticata (Maroon Gracilaria)
Maroon Gracilaria is a hardy, non-invasive red macroalgae with deep maroon coloring that makes it both functional and beautiful in aquariums. Unlike some faster-spreading macros, it stays contained, making it a great choice for both refugiums and display tanks. Gracilaria species are also known to have antibacterial properties, which may help reduce the risk of infections in fish. In addition, this macro can be harvested and fed back to herbivorous fish and invertebrates as a nutritious, natural food source.
