Wartskin Frogfish

Wartskin Angler (Antennarius maculatus)

A hardy and beginner-friendly frogfish species with tons of personality and unique textured patterns. Unlike many other frogfish species, Wartskins do not typically change colors to match their environment. Excellent for macroalgae nano aquariums.

Current Diet: Live ghost shrimp and small feeder fish

Feeding Frequency: Every 5–7 days 
Temperament: Predatory
Difficulty Level: Easy to Moderate
Compatibility: Can be kept with other frogfish in a properly planned community setup

• Do not house with tiny fish or ornamental shrimp
• Can usually be trained onto frozen foods fairly easily
• Provide perches, rockwork, and macroalgae for resting spots
